My Life According To Jill Scott

I first run across Two Brothers sharing his life according to Jay-Z two weeks ago and I knew right away that I would do this using Maxwell. Just before lunch, I pulled out my iPod and started searching for Maxwell songs that would fit. When I return from lunch, I immediately started surfing blogs and ran across Chocolate Orchid and she beat me to Maxwell. See, I need to stop procrastinating. I still could have used Maxwell, but Jill Scott is my girl.

1. I'm my mother's only child, but have a sister who blogs as KMR (check her out)

2. My favorite color is BLUE - it's so peaceful.

3. I'm happy God blessed me with a Son and not a Daughter. lol I was with my cousin's daughter this weekend - Thank You Lord he gave me "J". lol

4. I still need to loss the same 15 - 20 pounds I said I would work on back in January 2009 and June 2009.

5. I'm consider a Capricorn, but don't believe in zodiac sign. However, I looked at it the other day and it was right on. oops!

6. I love the smell of eucalyptus and pomegranate. I was pissed when Method Home discontinued the plugs-ins with those scents. My house isn't the same without them. lol

7. My nickname as a toddler, give by my uncle, was Brick Head. I know it's funny. My mother said, Lechelle, your head is as hard as a brick. That's when my uncle started calling my Brick Head. That was really mean!

8. I can't dance. So, I love the television program "So You Think You Can Dance." I wish I could dance dance dance.

9. I love to cook non-traditional food. My favorite Food Network program is Barefoot Contessa (Ina Garten). Whatever she cooks I'll try it.

10. I love electronics - iPods, computers, televisions, dvd's, camera, gps and all the other electronics out there. Dang!!! I need more for my toys. lol

What Are You Listening To?

Nowadays everyone has an iPod or Zune. I'm a iPod girl. lol I use mine at work a lot especially when I don't want to talk anyone. I don't really download or listen to a lot of music. However, I love the free podcast. Here are a few of my favorites.

I have others but these are my "must have." These podcast fulfill my financial, self-help and spiritual needs.

The music starts whenever I need to be anything physical around the house, because if the television is on no work will be done. Last week, I painted my hallway and my son's room and MAXWELL and KEM filled my home. They are definitely my helpers along with J. :o)

My sister text me today saying, "U need to update ur blog." and I replied, "I'll work on it today. :-)." Well, I haven't posted, because I have been watching Season 1 - 3 of Jack Bauer "24," since Friday, April 3. The show has just pull me in and I can't get enough of it. I'll watch an episode and say to myself, "I'm going to sleep after I finish this one." and I will proceed to watching another. One night, I didn't go to bed until 2am knowing that I have to be up by 6:00am for work. What is wrong with me? I got up the next morning and could barely function. lol

I have been watching too much television from American Idol - MTV Making the Band. That is why I haven't been posting on my blog.
